Reissue of 2000 album by the band Blixa; vinyl version with a 18-minute bonus track. One on 1 April 1980 at the legendary Berlin club Moon played concert will be the official birth of Einsturzende Neubauten. And later to the day exactly 30 years in the Berlin club Tresor held anniversary celebration in 2010 announced that the band Einsturzende Neubauten, even after three decades of intense ecstasy music still among the living. Ten years earlier, in 2000, the album Silence Is Sexy, which almost completely dispense with atonal noise attacks. Instead dominate - not only in the opener, Sabrina - actually fairly conventional song structures and melodies that get by with a few catchy sounds. For the first time percussionist FM Einheit was not there, and Blixa Bargeld had played some time with Nick Cave, which probably contributed to the well wholesomeness of Silence Is Sexy, a melancholy pop album first grade with some sharp corners and edges. The double-vinyl version features on the fourth page of the over 18-minute piece Pelikanol which is not included on the CD.
